Divya Budihal

Divya Budihal is a Robotics & Autonomy Software Engineer at Zipline since May 2020, contributing to the delivery of critical products across multiple countries. Previously, Divya served as an Undergraduate Robotics Researcher at The University of British Columbia, focusing on autonomous features for the da Vinci Surgical Robot under the guidance of Dr. Tim Salcudean and Alaa Eldin Abdelaal. Additional experience includes roles as an Autonomy Engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences, where work involved building autonomy features for drones; an Avionics & Perception Software Engineer at SkyRyse, developing systems for autonomous helicopter transportation; and a Software Engineer at VEERUM, creating asset tracking systems. Early career experience includes hardware engineering at Wexxar Bel and biomechanics research at the University of Calgary. Divya holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2020.
