Dylan Mandelbaum has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Most recently, they joined Zipline in 2023 as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they focused on developing the Droid for the new platform. Prior to that, they worked at Stratasys from 2021 to 2023 as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Dylan'sprevious experience includes working at Ford Motor Company from 2015 to 2021, where they held different engineering roles such as Body Innovation Engineer and Design and Release Engineer. Before that, they worked at Northwestern University as a Laboratory Aide/Shop Trainer and Teaching Assistant. Additionally, Dylan has volunteered as an Instructor at the Science & Entrepreneurship Exchange and worked as a CDP Technology Analyst at JPMorgan Chase.
Dylan Mandelbaum completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, Dylan also obtained a Certificate in Additive Manufacturing: Technology Principles and Applications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, during their time at Northwestern University, Dylan earned a Segal Design Certificate.
