Trevor Nielsen

Trevor Nielsen is a Powertrain Firmware Engineer at Zipline, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Trevor worked at Apple as the EE Sensors Lead in the Special Projects Group from January 2022 to January 2023. Experience at SpaceX includes roles as Space Lasers Engineer and Sensors Development Engineer from January 2019 to January 2022, along with earlier positions as Avionics Hardware Design Associate Engineer and Avionics Test Engineering Intern. Additional internship experience spans hardware integration roles at Nest and an embedded systems consultancy at Stasis Labs. Trevor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, completed in 2018, and graduated from Henry M. Gunn High School in 2014.
