Vp, Direct Marketing at Ziply Fiber

Rod Putney has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Rod started their career in 1997 as a Field Marketing Manager at GTE Wireless PCS and later worked as a Sr. Marketing Manager at Cingular Wireless. Rod then joined AT&T Mobility in 2005 as a Regional Manager and later became the Marketing Director for Customer Lifecycle Management. In 2015, they moved to the AT&T Entertainment Group as the National Assoc Director of Marketing - Revenue & Growth. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the National Assoc Director of Marketing - Loyalty & Service. Rod also worked at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) as a Council Member and at AlphaSights as an Advisor. Most recently, they worked at a pre-launch startup as the Marketing & Strategy Advisor before joining Ziply Fiber as the VP of Direct Marketing.

Rod Putney obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing and Management from SBGE at Seattle Pacific University. Rod later attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management for Executive Education, specializing in Digital Marketing Strategies, Data, Automation, AI & Analytics. In addition to their formal education, Rod has received various certifications including HubSpot Marketing Software, Create A Brand Strategy, Salesforce for Marketers, Brand and Marketing Integration, Google Analytics Essential Training (2017), Marketing Foundations: Integrated Marketing Strategies, Online Marketing Foundations, Social Media Marketing: ROI, Using Content for Lead Gen, and Writing a Marketing Plan.
