Ricardson Williams

Ricardson Williams has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to security, infrastructure, and DevOps. Ricardson currently works as a Senior Security & Infra Engineer at Zippi. Prior to that, they were a DevOps/Security Manager at Provi, where they led a DevOps team and managed infrastructure, access control, and WAF. Ricardson also performed migrations to AWS and implemented CI/CD pipelines. Before that, Ricardson worked as the Head of Engineering/Technology at Holistix, where they led technology initiatives. Ricardson was also a SRE Team Lead at mLabs. In their earlier career, Ricardson held roles such as Head of Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer at enjoei.com, Linux Specialist/DevOps at ADTsys Cloud Computing, and Pre-Sales Engineer at BRToken. Ricardson also worked as a Linux/Security Solutions professional at DataWall Consultoria and held a managerial role in networking/security at Paramont-Asia Ltd. Ricardson began their career as a Linux Consultant/Instructor at Utah Linux Center. Throughout their career, Ricardson has gained expertise in AWS, Jenkins, MongoDB, Cloudflare, and Datadog. Ricardson also has experience with VPN, email, firewalls, and the Linux operating system.

Ricardson Williams completed a degree in Information Technology from Universidade São Marcos from 1997 to 2000. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) license in November 2002. In August 2012, they completed the Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures (CEHv7) certification. In July 2013, they obtained the Sonicwall Security Administration (NS-101) certification. Lastly, in November 2014, they completed the SaltStack Enterprise Training certification. Additionally, in May 2019, they obtained a certification in Leadership and People Management from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.
