Lucas Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lucas started their career at Adelphia Communications in 2005, working as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and later as a Customer Care Manager. In 2006, they joined Time Warner Cable as a Customer Care Manager. The following year, they held the role of Operations Manager at Webgistix. In 2007, they worked at Level 3 Communications as an Events and Escalations Manager.
Lucas then joined W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company in 2008, where they held various roles including International Sales and Shipping and Consumer Repair Manager. In this latter position, they managed warehouse operations, inventory, and transportation vendor management, while also overseeing a product repair center.
Most recently, Lucas has been with Zippo Manufacturing Company since 2012. Lucas initially served as the National Accounts Manager and subsequently transitioned to become the Global Brand Manager. Lucas then advanced to the role of Senior Brand Manager and is currently the Associate Vice President of Zippo Global Marketing, starting in May 2021.
Throughout their career, Lucas has gained extensive experience in brand management, customer care, operations, and sales within the consumer goods and telecommunications industries.
Lucas Johnson pursued their education in a structured manner, focusing on business and engineering fields. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Switching gears, in 2010, they enrolled at St. Bonaventure University and graduated in 2014 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. To further expand their knowledge, Lucas joined the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2014 for the MBA China Studies Program, although details on the degree obtained are not provided.
