Liran Politi

Liran Politi is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing complex data-driven systems. Currently serving as a Data Science & Engineering Manager and Senior Data Scientist at ZipRecruiter since October 2021, Liran focuses on large-scale job and job seeker matching through advanced embedding models. Previously, Liran contributed as a Senior Data Scientist and Project Lead at Agoda, leading a team on optimizing bidding strategies and pricing algorithms. Liran's career also includes roles as a Data Scientist at Supersonic, where statistical algorithms were developed, and as a Teaching Assistant at Ben Gurion University, where instructional responsibilities in information systems were undertaken. Liran holds a Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, along with diverse experiences ranging from mathematical tutoring to military leadership in the Israel Defense Forces.
