Jacob Ness

Jacob Ness has had a varied work experience. Jacob started their career as an Impact Associate at Ashoka in 2014, where they conducted research and analysis to assess the impact of the organization in Argentina. Jacob also worked on a research project to improve the business model of Ashoka.

In 2015, Jacob joined Aviso Partners, Inc. as a Business Development and Sales Intern. In this role, they provided support in general business development efforts by conducting research on clients, managing prospects, and identifying business opportunities. Jacob also assisted in the development of marketing materials and presentations.

Since 2016, Jacob has been working at Zira. Jacob initially held the position of Internal Sales, where they worked closely with the CEO and Head of Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to expand Zira's resource optimization software in the United States. Jacob also played a leadership role in launching a joint project with prestigious universities to research energy optimization in industrial facilities.

In 2017, Jacob transitioned to the role of Sales Application Engineer at Zira, where they utilized their technical knowledge to support sales efforts. Currently, Jacob holds the position of Business Development at Zira, primarily focusing on expanding the company's reach in the United States. Jacob plays an integral role in developing the go-to-market strategy and creating sales, partner, and channel capabilities.

Jacob Ness attended Middlebury College where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish. Jacob also attended the Spanish Language School at Middlebury College. Additionally, they studied at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Unfortunately, no specific start or end years were provided for any of these educational experiences.
