Jan Gorzny

Jan Gorzny is a co-founder of Zircuit since June 2022 and previously served as Head of L2 Scaling and Blockchain Researcher at Quantstamp, Inc. from March 2018 to November 2023. Jan's early research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, focusing on requirements engineering languages and feature interaction detection, as well as an NSERC USRA at the University of Toronto, working on concurrency extensions in Java. Jan holds a PhD in Algorithms & Complexity from the University of Waterloo and two master's degrees in Algorithmic Graph Theory and Computer Science from the University of Victoria and the University of Toronto, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science, Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo.
