Shyam Srinivasan

Shyam Srinivasan is the CEO at Zitara. Prior to their current position, Shyam worked as a hardware engineer for Casper from October 2017 to April 2019. Shyam was a founding member of the consumer electronics team and helped to define, design, and ship Casper Glow. In addition, Shyam owned the battery supplier and silicon vendor relationships, defined engineering and test processes, and created the R&D vision and roadmap.

From April 2016 to October 2017, Shyam was a hardware engineer for Snap Inc. Shyam was an early senior engineer on the Spectacles team and defined the design and manufacturing processes that took Spectacles v1.0 from concept to mass production. Shyam was also the hardware lead for a mission-critical cost-down + reliability improvement effort (v1.1).

Shyam's previous experience includes working as a hardware engineer for Nest Labs from April 2012 to February 2016. Shyam also worked as an iPod Hardware Engineering Co-op for Apple from June 2010 to September 2011.

Shyam Srinivasan is currently enrolled in the summer 2020 batch at Y Combinator. Shyam previously completed their BS in electrical engineering at Caltech.
