Piers Wermbter

Piers Wermbter is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Founder and CTO of Zive since August 2023. Prior to this role, Piers held several key positions at Haiilo from February 2017 to June 2023, including Principal Engineer, where Piers led the Engineering department in transitioning to a micro-service architecture and enhancing collaboration between product and technology teams. Piers also served as Software Engineer/Chapter Lead, managing a backend chapter and overseeing the migration from a monolithic application to a distributed system. Additionally, Piers worked as a Service Delivery Manager, directing technical migrations for major clients. Piers has coaching experience as a Training Coach at neuefische GmbH and began their career as a Software Engineer and Consultant at mindsmash GmbH. Piers holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn and has studied at the University of Victoria.
