Laura Belicka

Laura Belicka is a senior scientist at ZIVO Bioscience. Laura has over ten years of experience in research and development in the field of algae cultivation and natural product production. Laura has a strong background in project management, with experience leading project teams and conducting training programs. Laura has also managed 1-5 direct reports, providing career development advice and conducting performance evaluations. Laura's previous experience includes working as a research associate at Florida International University, where they performed research on organic geochemical applications to food-web research in the Florida Everglades.

Laura Belicka earned their Ph.D. in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science with a focus in Oceanography and Marine Chemistry from the University of Maryland. Prior to that, they completed their MS in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Sciences with a focus in Oceanography and Marine Chemistry also from the University of Maryland. Laura Belicka started their educational career at Penn State University where they earned their BS in Geosciences.
