Hannah Christensen

Hannah Christensen has a diverse range of work experience in HR and people-centered roles. Hannah most recently held the position of Global People, Culture & Sustainability Director at ZIWI. Before that, they worked as the GM of People & Culture at Unity and as the Head of People Partnering at ASB Bank.

Prior to these roles, Hannah held various positions at Auckland Council, including Head of People Advice and Partnering, Head of Business Partnering, and Structural Change and Business Partner Manager. Hannah also worked as a Management Consultant at Jasmax and as an Activator at SheEO™.

Hannah's earlier experience includes being an HR Business Leader at Schneider Electric, an HR Business Partner at Nestlé Purina North America, and a National HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor at Harvey Norman. Hannah began their HR career as a Human Resources Advisor at Franklin District Council.

Hannah Christensen completed a diploma in Human Resources Level 5 from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand in 2002. In 2003, they obtained a Health and Safety Representatives Certificate (Stage 1 and 2). In 2006, they earned a Certificate in First Line Management. In 2023, they briefly studied Sustainability Studies at the University of Oxford.
