Brandon Carnes

Brandon Carnes is a Senior Software Engineer at OpenText since November 2022, focusing on integrating new products into a C# service management and provisioning stack, including developing components for asynchronous event-based messaging. Previously, Brandon served as a Software Developer at Zix from September 2019, specializing in C# and Angular platform integration and Ruby on Rails portal maintenance. Prior experience includes roles as Software Engineer II at Raytheon and Associate Software Engineer at JCPenney, where Brandon developed C# web services and Android applications. Brandon started an IT career at Office Depot as a Sales Consultant and JCPenney as an IT Intern, both focused on technology solutions and applications for store operations. Brandon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Austin College and an Associate’s Degree from Grayson College.
