Mark Demichele

Mark DeMichele is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software development and DevOps. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at OpenText since January 2021, Mark specializes in DevSecOps. At Zix, Mark has played a pivotal role since September 2008 in leading a DevOps transformation group, focusing on developing a comprehensive DevOps vision and roadmaps. Previous roles include Technical Architect at UnitedHealthCare StudentResources, where Mark was responsible for claims processing systems, and Software Engineer at Life Systems, Inc., where efforts were made to migrate a large application from mainframe to SQL Server. Mark's education includes a BS in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and additional studies in Software Systems Engineering at George Mason University, supplemented by certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science through Coursera.
