Khadija Shariff is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and program development within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Milele Zanzibar Foundation since February 2015, Khadija focuses on setting strategic direction and enhancing organizational capacities. Previous roles include serving as the National Coordinator for the Forum for African Women Educationalists Zanzibar, where Khadija led the revitalization of the organization's systems and initiated a strategic planning process. Additional experience includes positions at Zizi Afrique Foundation, Stepping Stones International, and the University of Pennsylvania, highlighting a strong background in education, curriculum development, and youth program coordination. Khadija holds a Master's degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations/Economics from Bucknell University.
