Kon Leong

CEO at ZL Technologies

Kon Leong has a long and varied work history, beginning in 1979 as a Territory Manager at Burroughs Corp. Kon then moved to Philips Data Systems in 1981 as a Systems Analyst, before taking a Business Systems role at Union Bank of California in 1982. In 1985, they became a Financial Analyst at General Motors, and then moved to Deutsche Bank in 1987 as First Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions. In 1992, they were appointed CEO of KKall, and then moved to GigaLabs in 1995 as President. Finally, in 1999, they became CEO of ZL Technologies, Inc., a position they still hold.

Kon Leong's education history includes an MBA from The Wharton School (1984-1986), a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Concordia University (1975-1979), and attendance at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (1974-1975). Kon has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Sciences from Concordia University and attended St. Xaviers High and the University of Mumbai.
