Baptiste Petit has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 with seasonal employment at Autogrill. In 2011 and 2012, they worked as a sales person at Bricorama France. In 2014, they completed their first year engineering internship with the IMS Laboratory EDMINA team. In 2015, they had an engineering internship with AW2S - Advanced Wireless Solutions and Services, where they worked on different projects and gained experience in driver programming, digital design, and GUI development. In 2016, Baptiste had an internship at Laboratoire IMS Bordeaux, where they worked on designing a decoder for digital communications. In the same year, they also started working as an Embedded Systems Engineer at ZMP Inc., where they worked on developing features and bug fixes for CarriRo, a logistics support robot. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of R&D Software Engineer at ZMP Inc., focusing on an autonomous driving delivery robot prototype. Finally, in 2019, Baptiste became the Lead Software Engineer at ZMP Inc., taking on management responsibilities in the Operations and System divisions and leading a multinational engineering team in developing software infrastructure for autonomous driving robots.
Baptiste Petit completed their Ingénieur degree in Electronics at ENSEIRB-MATMECA from 2013 to 2016. Baptiste also participated in a UCEAP Reciprocity program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Gustave Eiffel Dijon for preparatory classes from 2010 to 2012. In 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Baccalauréat Général Scientifique in the Section Sciences de l'Ingénieur from Lycée Clos-Maire, 21200 Beaune. Baptiste also holds additional certifications in English proficiency, including an IELTS score of 7.0, a TOEFL score of 98, and a TOEIC score of 970, all obtained in 2015.
