Jack McDermott-Sweeney is an experienced designer with a diverse work history. In 2021, they began working as a Senior UX Designer for ZoCo Design, an independent experience design studio based in Columbus, Ohio. In 2019, they began working as a Product Designer for Rhove. In 2020, they worked as a UX Consultant for GiftPocket, an app to manage all gift cards. In 2018, they worked as a UX Intern for Technology Services at The Ohio State University, where they designed user interface wireframes and prototypes. Jack also worked as a Motion Design Intern for Columbus Crew SC, creating motion graphic animations for stadium scoreboard screens and social media. In 2017, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern for the Wexner Center for the Arts, producing promotional media for the center. In 2016, they worked as an Adobe Illustrator Instructor for Media, Marketing, & Communications Scholars, teaching fundamental concepts, tools, and capabilities of Adobe Illustrator.

Jack McDermott-Sweeney attended Chares F. Brush High School, where they earned a High School Diploma with Honors. Jack then went on to The Ohio State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Design in 2020. In 2016, they also studied Design at Universidad Marista de Mérida.
