Hector Zhu

Hector Zhu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in flight software development for commercial and government satellites, as well as drone technology. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Zoetis since April 2022, Hector has previously held positions such as Sr Staff Software Engineer at Maxar Technologies, where flight software for space systems was developed. Earlier roles include Flight Software Engineer at SSL, Software Developer for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, and various engineering positions at Sotera Wireless and the Naval Postgraduate School. Hector holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, achieved in 2011.
