Concept And Brand Director at Zoku

Veerle Donders has a diverse range of work experience. Veerle began their career at Restaurant De Watermolen as a waitress in 2007. In 2009, they interned as an F&B allround intern at Hotel Casanova. In the same year, they also started working as a volunteer in sales at Vincentius Vereniging. In 2010, Veerle worked as a waitress at Amuse Hospitality Services and as a student assistant at Hotelschool The Hague, where they conducted a project on nutritious descriptions on labels. From 2011 to 2014, they were involved in concept development and guest experience design at HotelsAhead BV. Veerle also worked as a guest experience coordinator at TEDxAmsterdamED in 2013. From 2013 to 2014, Veerle was part of the customer experience team at TEDxAmsterdam, focusing on experience and graphic design. Veerle joined Zoku in 2014 as a Community Manager, working on the concept and guest experience design. Veerle then became the Concept & Brand Manager, overseeing design, concept development, community management, and branding. In 2019, Veerle assumed the role of Concept and Brand Director, responsible for the expansion and development of the Zoku brand.

Veerle Donders completed their education at Hotelschool The Hague and Hotelschool the Hague International University of Hospitality Management between 2008 and 2012. Veerle obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on hospitality management. In 2019, they also obtained a certificate in Storytelling for Influence from IDEO U.
