Shefali Juneja Lakhina

Shefali Juneja Lakhina, PhD, is a co-founder of Wonder Labs, which focuses on social and ecological innovations addressing climate impacts through technology development and research collaboration. Current roles include serving as an editorial board member for the Fire Journal's Social Science Section, advising Convective Capital—dedicated to combating wildfires—and being an advisory board member for both Megafire Action and the Zonehaven Fund. Previous experience encompasses a doctoral researcher position at the University of Wollongong, where research centered on disaster risk among migrants, and leadership roles such as founder and editor of "The disaster diary project."
