Arfan Ikram

Arfan Ikram currently holds the position of Voorzitter at ZonMw and serves as a member of the Raad van Bestuur at NWO since August 2022. At Erasmus MC, Arfan Ikram has been the Afdelingshoofd Epidemiologie and a professor in Epidemiology since September 2005, with roles including Universitair hoofddocent and Medical Resident in Radiology. Arfan Ikram also contributes as an Adjunct-hoogleraar in Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since February 2017, following a research visit there in 2015. Additional research experience includes a brief tenure at the University of California, Davis in 2012. Arfan Ikram's educational background includes a Doctor in Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MD in General Medicine, among other credentials.
