Laurijn Draaisma is an experienced Program Manager at ZonMw, specializing in early detection within the prevention cluster since April 2023. Previously, Laurijn completed a PhD in Neuroscience at EPFL, focusing on neurostimulation for neurorehabilitation in stroke patients, with a tenure from June 2017 to May 2022. Prior research roles include positions at the Biomedical Primate Research Center and Utrecht University, investigating the effects of ketamine and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) on PTSD-like symptoms.
