Austin Jarrett has worked in a variety of roles in the past few years. In 2018, they were a Teaching Assistant at BYU Independent Study. In 2019, they worked as a Middle School Spanish Teacher at Walden School of Liberal Arts, a Private Tutor at Tutor Doctor, and a Research Assistant in Biophysics, Computational Chemistry, and Structural Biology at BYU Physics Department. In 2021, they completed a Computational Biochemistry Research Internship at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at ZONTAL, where they create parsers to convert raw data files, develops python dash web applications, and develops and deploys ingest pipelines running with kubernetes on a remote server.
Austin Jarrett has a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brigham Young University, which they obtained between 2018 and 2022. Austin also holds minors in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts in General Studies and Spanish from Utah State University between 2014 and 2017. In addition, Austin has obtained four certifications: Certified College Tutor from the College Reading & Learning Association in 2019, and Microsoft Office Specialist certifications in Microsoft Excel 2010, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, and Microsoft Word 2010 from Microsoft in 2014.
