Demi Booth

Demi Booth is an experienced professional in animal care and welfare, currently serving as the Animal Training Supervisor at Al Ain Zoo since March 2023. Previous roles include Animal Welfare Specialist, Enrichment Officer, and Animal Keeper at Dubai Safari Park from May 2016 to February 2023, demonstrating a strong passion for animal health and creating stimulating environments for captive species. Additional experience encompasses positions as an animal care volunteer at Save Vietnam's Wildlife, seal rescue volunteer at Seal Rescue Ireland, and various internships and roles within renowned organizations such as the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Belfast Zoological Gardens. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoo Biology from Nottingham Trent University and a Diploma in Zoo Management from Sparsholt College Hampshire, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Animal Welfare Behaviour Ethics and Law at the University of Winchester.
