Omar Yousef Alblooshi

Omar Yousef Alblooshi is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre at Al Ain Zoo since November 2013, where the focus is on providing educational experiences about the UAE’s natural environment. Previously, Omar held various roles at Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club, including Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication and Director of the Media Office, where initiatives aimed at modernizing media strategies were implemented. Additional experience includes contributions to the tourism sector as a member of the Al Ain Industry Development Committees with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, as well as managerial roles at the Department of Education and Knowledge and the Ministry of Education – UAE. Omar holds advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Strategy from the National Defense College Abu Dhabi and an Executive MBA in Business Administration.
