Andrew Terry

Andrew Terry is a seasoned conservation professional currently serving as the Director of Conservation and Policy at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) since April 2019. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust from July 2007 to March 2019, including Head of UK Development, where responsibilities involved enhancing Durrell's profile and developing new income streams, and Head of Field Programmes, overseeing the strategy and operational management of field conservation initiatives. Additionally, Andrew served as a Scientific Advisor at IUCN from June 2003 to July 2007. Academic credentials include a PhD in Behaviour and Conservation from the University of Copenhagen, an MPhil in Animal Behaviour, and a BSc(Hons) in Zoology, both from the University of Nottingham.
