Simon Lee

Simon Lee serves as the Head of Legal, Governance, and Risk Management at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) since April 2018, focusing on international conservation and science charity efforts. Prior to joining ZSL, Simon worked as an Associate at Hempsons, emphasizing social enterprise and charity law, and provided corporate commercial advice to various health sector clients. Earlier in the career at Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP, Simon led social enterprise initiatives and State aid advice, overseeing projects that transitioned public sector teams into new charitable or social enterprises. Simon holds a distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law (York) and a BA in Law with French from the University of Sheffield.
