Akash Arora

Akash Arora is an accomplished Staff Software Engineer specializing in Behavior Planning at Zoox since May 2019, where significant contributions have been made to enhance highway driving metrics. Formerly, Akash held the position of Robotics Research Engineer at AutoX Inc, developing a junction handling framework for self-driving vehicles, implemented in both the US and China. Previous experience includes a Visiting Research Scholar role at NASA Ames Research Center focusing on online learning for scientific exploration, a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at the University of Sydney, and various engineering roles at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and the University of Auckland.
