Haoyu Sun

Haoyu Sun is a technical specialist in ADAS perception at Lucid Motors, with experience in deep learning, lane detection, and BEV models since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Changan US R&D Center, where responsibilities spanned from leading a team in sensor fusion and object tracking to developing algorithms for intention prediction and threat assessment. Additionally, Haoyu Sun contributed to autonomous driving prototyping at Honda R&D Americas, focusing on ADAS concepts and vehicle communication technologies. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and another from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
