Hemant H Kumar

Hemant H Kumar is a Software Engineer III at Zoox, focusing on developing machine learning models to analyze autonomous driving scenes while utilizing Spark for data processing. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University for various courses such as Quality Assurance, Statistics for Decision Making, Business and Marketing Strategy, Applied Deep Learning, and Applied Machine Learning. Hemant also held the position of Data Science Intern at Zoox, enhancing autonomous driving analytics, and previously worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in big data development, beginning as a Software Engineer Intern and progressing through to Software Engineer II. Hemant began the career at IEEE VIT Vellore and completed internships at Bharat Electronics Limited and Invento Robotics, contributing to projects in machine learning and speech recognition. Hemant holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology.
