Hien Luu

Hien Luu is currently a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Zoox, leading the ML Platform team to innovate in autonomous driving technologies. With extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering, Hien previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at DoorDash, focusing on scalable infrastructure for Generative AI and ML. Hien also served as a program chair and instructor at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley, specializing in AI strategies to enhance productivity. Further, Hien has authored several technical books on Apache Spark and has held engineering management roles at prominent companies such as LinkedIn, Uber, and Netflix. Hien holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Software Engineering from San Jose State University.
