Hudson Ayers is a Senior Software Engineer at Zoox, currently working on the Robot Software Infrastructure / Platform OS team. They previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer II at Cruise and a Wireless Architect intern at Apple. Hudson earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where their research focused on Embedded Systems, Computer Networks, and Computer Security. They also completed a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Stanford University and the University of Virginia, respectively. Hudson has a keen interest in secure embedded systems and enjoys coding in Rust.
