Mohamed Azhar

Mohamed Azhar is a System Verification and Validation Engineer at Zoox since April 2023, with a strong background in autonomous vehicle (AV) testing and engineering. Prior experience includes roles as AV Test Engineering Lead and AV Test Engineer III at Motional from August 2021 to December 2022, and as Physical Test Lead at the Centre of Excellence for Testing and Research of Autonomous Vehicles-NTU (CETRAN) from July 2017 to July 2021, where responsibilities included developing safety assessments and methodologies for AV validation and collaborating with industry stakeholders. Mohamed's early experience includes internships at GE Aviation in turbine blades engineering and at Safran, both focused on improving engineering workflows during undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore, where a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering was obtained.
