Payal Ashtankar

Payal Ashtankar is an experienced professional in supply chain management and industrial engineering, currently serving as Supply and Demand Planning Manager at Zoox since November 2022. In this role, Payal acts as a crucial link between business strategies and operational execution, managing clear-to-build processes and collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers to address material challenges. Prior to Zoox, Payal was a Senior Industrial Engineer at Western Digital, where responsibilities included global supply planning for SSD products, optimizing factory build plans, and coordinating new product introductions. Earlier experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Transportation Research and Education and various roles in e-commerce operations and content creation. Payal holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Amravati.
