Theresa Rivera

Theresa Rivera is an experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in propulsion and structures engineering, currently serving as a Senior Executive Operations Manager in Autonomy Software at Zoox since December 2020. Prior to this role, Theresa worked at SpaceX from July 2013 to December 2020, progressing from Structures Engineer to Lead Propulsion Engineer, managing teams and overseeing propulsion system operations for the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Theresa's earlier experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Grand Challenges Ambassador at the University of Southern California, where Theresa earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Aerodynamics and Fluid Dynamics, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same field.
