Travis Llado

Travis Llado is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in robotics and firmware across various prestigious organizations. Currently employed at Zoox since 2020, Travis has held multiple roles including Software Engineer for Firmware Fail-Operational Response, Firmware Autonomous Integration, and Firmware Drive Systems. Prior experience includes a role as Robotics Engineer at LinkDyn Robotics and several positions at The University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities encompassed research assistance in robotics labs and teaching in mechatronics. Additional contributions to the field include internships at NASA and Apptronik, alongside roles in early-stage startups and internationally recognized institutes like the International Atomic Energy Agency. Travis holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
