Vincent Spinella-Mamo is the Senior Counsel for IP & Technology at Zoox. Vincent has extensive experience in intellectual property and scientific research, having served as the Chief Science Officer at Exponential Think Tank and a Post-Doctoral Fellow focusing on mobile robotics using computer vision and machine learning. Vincent has also worked as a Licensing Associate at George Washington University, where they were responsible for drafting license agreements and negotiating capital structures for spin-off companies. In this role, they also performed market and patent research to determine if ideas were commercially viable and advised on patent protection. Some of the technologies in their portfolio include software for deep web aggregate queries, InfoSec and Cyber Security, MEMS devices for biological detection, MEMS RF switches, automotive technologies, novel materials for energy efficient engines, and green chemistry.

Vincent Spinella-Mamo has a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Physics from Georgetown University, a Masters of Science in Physics from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Vincent also has certification from The Florida Bar, the State Bar of California, and the USPTO.
