Edwin de Ruijter

Edwin de Ruijter currently serves as a General Partner at Smarter Ventures since January 2024 and as Interim CIO for Digitale Transformatie at Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk since February 2023. Previously, Edwin was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Eshgro | Cloud Services from September 2019 to February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Director at Claranet Benelux from January 2015 to September 2019, and Operations Manager at Quinfox Automatisering B.V. from January 2000 to December 2014, where responsibilities included translating ICT vision and strategy into policy. Additionally, Edwin worked as a Senior ICT Consultant at Copaco between November 1997 and January 2000, and as an Exact specialist at Perfection Automatiseringen from October 1992 to October 1997. Edwin began a career at Xerox as a Sales Specialist from 1990 to 1992. Edwin holds a degree from HBO CE Breda.
