Eric-Jan Smit is a seasoned Business Intelligence professional with extensive experience in the fashion and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Business Intelligence Manager at Zorggroep Almere since August 2020, Eric-Jan specializes in building BI teams and utilizing the SAS stack for data visualization and analysis across finance, HR, and medical performance data. Eric-Jan has held various consulting roles since 2016, providing market knowledge to international firms through Guidepoint and AlphaSights. Previously, Eric-Jan worked at Retailisation BV and Doniger Fashion Group, focusing on business analysis and BI development. A former Operations Director at PVH Corp., Eric-Jan managed multiple departments across Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, bringing strategic and analytical expertise from earlier roles at Tommy Hilfiger and Logica CMG. Eric-Jan holds an Engineer's Degree in Production (textiles & clothing) from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
