Coby Traas

Coby Traas currently serves as a member of the Raad van Commissarissen at both Alwel and Zeeuwland since March 2023 and January 2020, respectively. Coby has held the position of Bestuurder at Zorggroep Ter Weel since April 2010, focusing on leadership and business planning for housing elderly individuals requiring care. Additionally, Coby worked as the director of WijZijn Traverse Groep, an organization dedicated to social work and community care, from February 1994 to March 2010. Coby's earlier experience includes social work in a psychiatric hospital and team management at Emergis from February 1982 to September 1991. Coby's educational background includes an MBA in Strategic Management from NCOI Opleidingen and a Doctorandus in Public Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
