Madeline (Maddie) Baughman

Maddie Baughman has had a varied work experience since 2013. Madeline (Maddie) began as a Curriculum Developer and Counselor for Kids4Peace International, where they gained experience conducting cross-cultural dialogue with children and teenagers. In 2017, they became a Resident Cabin Counselor at Camp Allen. In 2018, Maddie was a Senior Student Associate for both the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) and the Strauss Center for International Security and Law. At the same time, they were a Language Partner for the University of Texas Arabic Flagship. In 2020, they were an Employment Case Manager for Refugee Services of Texas and an Instructional Support for The University of Texas at Austin. Finally, Maddie is currently a Business Operations / Executive Assistant for Zoro Card and a Client Solutions Manager and Senior Client Solutions Associate for GLG.

Maddie Baughman completed their Arabic Flagship Capstone Year in Meknes, Morocco from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, they attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures and obtained their Business Foundations Certificate in May 2019. In 2018, they also attended the CAMES Arabic Summer Program at the American University of Beirut.
