Abhishek Patra has been working in the tech industry since 2011. In 2011, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Zoronto Services Private Limited, where they faced the issues of finding accommodation quickly and easily. In 2012, they worked as a Web Developer at Shoppers On, where they executed over five projects in less than a year. In 2013, they worked as a Product Architect at Skillenza, previously known as venturehire.in and venturesity.com. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Team Lead at Hospitality Finance Company India Private Limited, where they developed salarybrige, a financial product. In 2015, they worked as a Senior System Analyst at Sonata Software, where they developed backend applications that helped numerous e-commerce sites. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Zoronto, a communications agency that helps D2C brands generate more money by using the power of communications. Zoronto has generated over $25 million for their D2C clients.

Abhishek Patra completed their ICSE from Montfort School in 2003, followed by Higher Secondary from Vivekananda Shiksha Niketan High School in 2006. Abhishek then pursued a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Calcutta, graduating in 2009. Abhishek went on to obtain an MSc in Computer Science from St. Xavier's College in 2011. In 2019, Abhishek became a Klaviyo Certified Expert and in 2021, they became an Attentive SMS Expert.
