Visal Gamage

Visal Gamage has worked in the IT industry since 2015. Visal began their career in 2015 at Visual Techno Solution (Pvt) Ltd as an Asst. Engineer/ICT. Visal'sresponsibilities included Sophos Anti-Virus Primary Engineering, supervising LAN cabling, site inspection, CCTV configuration, routing and switching, computer configuration, and IT support engineer. Visal also achieved success in installing a virus protection system in Sri Lanka Customs. From 2015 to 2020, Visal Gamage worked at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) as a Trainee Network Administrator/Instructor. Since 2020, they have been employed at CDEM Hospital as an Information Technology Executive. Visal'sresponsibilities include handling Microsoft Server 2012R2, network security and function of laboratory, network systems, routers, firewall, cloud backup solutions, and Microsoft O365. Visal is also responsible for protecting the company network from any virus threats, maintaining company centralized UPS, security systems, CCTV, and time attendance. In 2022, Visal Gamage began working at ZorroSign, Inc. as an EUS Engineer.

Visal Gamage has a strong educational background. Visal completed a BSc Hons in Computing with a focus in Information Technology from Wrexham Glyndŵr University between 2019 and 2020. Prior to this, they attended Isipathana College from 1999 to 2012, studying Mathematics and Computer Science. Visal has also obtained two certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2021 Certified Associate from Oracle in February 2022, and CCNA from Cisco.
