Makoto Aihara

Makoto Aihara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2012, Makoto worked at Cygames as a Customer Service representative, handling inquiries and providing feedback on gaming events. They later became the Customer Service Team Lead, where they communicated with planners to improve the gaming experience and reduce customer inquiries. In 2014, Makoto joined mixi, Inc as an Associate in Game Design, where they managed live operations, planned events, and created YouTube content. They then moved up to become the Team Lead in Game Design, responsible for coordinating and managing release dates and branches for live operation data. Makoto also worked as a Director, overseeing the development of a new mobile app and ensuring optimal performance. In 2021, they joined The Plant as a Project Manager, and in 2023, they will start working as a Product Owner at ZOZO Technologies, Inc.

Makoto Aihara earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics major and Japanese minor, along with a Bachelor's in Education, from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, Makoto obtained a BC Teacher Certificate from the Ministry of Education in 2008.
