Taka Yamada

Taka Yamada has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as an Application Developer at Thirdware, Inc., where they designed and developed web-based management applications and provided on-site installation and support.

In 2000, Yamada joined Rakuten USA and held various positions, including Director of Technology and Product Development, Vice President of Product Development, and Senior Vice President of Product Development. Taka played instrumental roles in strategic acquisitions and team integrations, as well as managing the development of e-commerce services and application projects.

Yamada then moved to Curation Japan, Inc. in 2016, where they served as Director of Technology and Product Development. During their tenure, they successfully launched Premium Japan's multilingual features and established partnerships for the Premium Japan Online Shop.

From 2017 to 2019, Yamada joined ZOZO, INC. as the Vice President of International Business. Taka played a key role in the development of ZOZOSUIT and the launch of a private brand apparel e-commerce site, working with global marketing and customer support teams.

In 2019, Yamada transitioned to ZOZO Technologies, Inc., taking on the role of Vice President of Measurement Technology. Then, in 2020, they became the VP of Measurement Product at ZOZO, INC.

Taka'smost recent position is as a Board Member at Zozo New Zealand Ltd, starting in 2021.

Taka Yamada attended Keio University from 1994 to 1998, obtaining a Bachelor of Information Environment degree in the field of study of Information Environment.
