Bobby Zhang

Bobby (Zixuan) Zhang is an experienced hardware engineer currently serving as the Lead Hardware Engineer at ZPE Systems since May 2021. Prior to this role, Bobby worked as a New Product Introduction Engineer at American Portwell Technology, Inc., where Bobby (Zixuan) managed over 40 projects, ensuring design verification, risk management, and ISO compliance. Bobby's background includes a hardware engineering internship at Symbolic Sound Corporation, where responsibilities involved schematic capture, PCB layout, and firmware testing for high-end audio equipment. Bobby also gained technical experience through positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Multimedia Technician, Mid America Bank as an IT Intern, and YAYUN Audio Manufacturer as an intern focusing on loudspeaker design. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
