Sveinung Fjær

Sveinung Fjær is the Chief Technology Officer at Zrch, a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Webstep from December 2017 to December 2023 and as a Software Developer at Tobii Dynavox from February 2016 to May 2017. Fjær's academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Imaging from the University of Bergen, awarded in 2016, following a Master’s in Computational Mathematics and two Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics. Previous roles also include researcher positions at The Norwegian Multiple Sclerosis National Competence Centre and collaborative work at the Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center, focusing on developing software to detect changes in myelin concentration in the brain using MRI technology. Further early career experiences involve student assistant roles at the University of Bergen and a summer internship at Statoil.
