Mila Sorokina

Mila Sorokina is a Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant at ZS since April 2025, and a Graduate Researcher at University of Illinois Chicago since August 2017, where efforts in multi-disciplinary materials research for biomedical and drug discovery have led to significant publications and presentations. Mila has also mentored over 10 students from underrepresented backgrounds, achieving 100% placement in influential roles, and has instructed undergraduate courses, enhancing student performance by over 20%. Prior experiences include a VP role in Outreach for the Consulting Club at the Texas Medical Center, and a tenure at Kearney, where Mila contributed to product design strategy, achieving substantial cost savings. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Engineering, an MS in Bioengineering, and a BS in Bioengineering, all from the University of Illinois Chicago.
